Last Dream is a hybrid video game that is played by three players in a dream with a horrifying atmosphere that envelops the room. Each player controls the same entity, but they each control a specific part. They must cooperate to get out of this situation.
Will they be able to get out of this nightmare together?
Game scenario
The players embody themselves in this world. An incident occurs and you are in a coma. You feel in the same body as your friends. You are in a dream with your friends. But you feel chased by wandering spirits who want your death.
Each player has different abilities. One does the logical operations. Another physically controls the body in the environment. And the latter sees the dangers and distributes the energy.
It is necessary for players to communicate well and work together to reach the milestones.
For a complete immersion, the game must be played in an arcade room imagine for the game. As the players enter the room, they are immersed in the world of a game. The game environment and the play resembles what can be found in German expressionism cinema, in order to reflect the distorted dream.
5.1 sound is used for two reasons. The first is to increase the ambience in the room by positioning the speakers in different corners of the room. The second reason is to use certain speakers to have them talk to specific players. As certain spirits will try to decentralize the players between them, the players will have to stay the course in spite of the spirits which speak to them in the back.
