Toastception is a game created in internal Gamejam at UQAT and ÉTS universities. We had a weekend to do the game under the “unusual” theme. In addition, during the gamejam, it was possible for each team to send penalties to other teams to make the development of the game more difficult.
Designer in the team
Being the designer, I had to design the levels to create a gameplay for the player and a good idea of a location for my colleagues.
While we were creating a first-person horror game, we had to add to the game elements chosen by the other teams. We had to add :
-Stealth Mechanic
-Configurable difficulty
-Third
person camera
The game was well appreciated by the jury. In addition, they told us that we were the team that best integrated penalties into our game.
